07 Mar Kelly Hill Joins Staff as Director of Institutional Advancement
NEW WINDSOR, MD (March 7, 2018) – Springdale Preparatory School, a co-educational day and boarding school located in New Windsor, Carroll County, Maryland, has added Kelly Hill to its staff as director of institutional advancement, announced Johnny Graham, founding head of school.
As director of institutional advancement, Hill is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive institutional advancement programs, including annual fund, corporate and foundation relations, major gifts and gift planning, endowments, capital campaigns, and alumni and constituent relations efforts.
Kelly will direct all facets of Springdale’s Advancement Office, including endowment and estate planning, as we continue to expand our student population,” says Graham.
For the last 15 years, Hill has served the Carroll Community College Foundation, the last three as president. She oversaw the board of directors and all administrative committees of the foundation, chaired the strategic planning committee and assumed a major role in a $1 million campaign aimed at introducing new communities to the concept of philanthropy. She is a past president of the Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary, an organization she served for 14 years. Over the years, she supervised boards of directors and various committees for the organization.
In addition, Hill served as a branch banker for BB and T Bank and marketing director for Sidney Willoughby Run and Masonry Homes Inc. She earned as associate’s degree in business administration from Carroll Community College, where she was inducted into the International Business Honor Societies of Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Beta Gamma.
