The World Languages classes are finishing their final lessons of the year and working on Celebration of Learning projects.
The Franco-Italians are reporting on footballers, fashion houses, and life around the Latin Quarter of Paris.
The Chinese are currently exploring China and Taiwan via the Hot Pot and other exotic foods. Our current lesson is about getting together with friends and learning about beverages in China.
The Germans are studying weather reports and the history, both famous and infamous, of Berlin.
Finally, the Spanish are learning about physical descriptions and characteristics, as well as the ancient civilizations of the Maya, Aztecs and Incans.
For those enrolling in Arabic and Russian next academic year, Dr. Chun will be assigning some foundational homework over the summer. Please be prepared to complete as much as possible prior to September.
As usual, we are incorporating comprehensive mixed literacy pieces in our classes with a lot of history and humor.
