The French/Italian class has thus far completed the preliminary greetings units, virtually visited the Eiffel Tower and Milan Spring Fashion Week, and sampled some desserts. Yum!
The Chinese class has virtually visited some local schools in China as well as feasted on some delicacies for the National Holiday and Mid-Autumn Festival. Our class is becoming more proficient in character writing and recognition as well. We are also new fans of 疯狂小糖 and 西游记。
The Spanish class has a new addition to our class, named “Felipe Fernando Mondo,” and finished our candy skulls for the Day of the Dead. The students have been doing informal interviews with faculty as well as Socratic Seminars based on current events.
